Jamie was born in Jacksonville, FL on  June 28, 1971. He has one older sister. Jana was born in Jacksonville, FL on May 2, 1976. She has one older and two younger brothers.
Both are life-long residents of Nassau County.

In November of 1991, they met through mutual friends at a high school dance. They danced their way into each others heart and was wed on October 8, 1994. Had they missed the dance, they would not have been blessed with a daughter and son.

When Jamie finished high school, being born with pine tar in his blood, he joined his dad in the logging business. Jana is the bookkeeper for the business. Also, she keeps books for her brother's logging business. In the next couple of years, Jana plans to begin a career as a teacher. In their leisure time they enjoy activities and events that they can share as a family.

Jamie's favorite scripture is Matthew 5:16. His advice to others is: "Treat others with dignity."
Jamie's family has had the greatest influence on his life. He says they have always tried to and have lived a respectful life.

Jana's favorite scripture is Ephesians 4:32. Her advice to others is: "Smile! It is the best part of any outfit." The person to have the greatest influence on Jana's life is her uncle Fred Geiger. She says; for fifteen years he went out of his way to take she and her brothers to church, which taught her about love for others, sacrifice, respect and most importantly God's love for all.

Since coming to Buford Grove in 1994 both have been faithful. Jamie is a faithful member of the sound room team. Jana is active with the children's Ministry.
