We will be running shuttle service both morning and evening to and from the motel. You can call the motel at (912) 673-7116 tro make reservations. Dr. David Harrison is the founder and director of Voice of Hope Ministries. Raised in a drunkard's home, he knows firsthand the condition that many of today's youth are in. He was saved at the age of seven and began immediately serving God and developing his musical talent.
He married his wife Kay in 1973 and they began working with young people shortly thereafter. At a youth conference in Hammond, Indiana in 1976, God spoke to him about preaching. He ran from that call for over a year. He agreed with God to go to college and work with young people and music, but preach? Never! Finally in a chapel service, he surrendered his life to God and the rest is history. Since then, Dr. Harrison has literally traveled around the world. In revivals, conferences, camp meetings, tent meetings, youth crusades and on the mission field, he has preached a message of hope to this generation. His burden for revival sustains him and his vision for this nation motivates him. He and his wife reside in Lexington, North Carolina. They have four children, two grandchildren and together as a family they serve God and are a part of Voice of Hope Ministries. Besides his preaching ministry, he is a songwriter and musician, church planter resulting in 16 independent Baptist churches started in America, has taught on the college level, written several booklets and study notes, serves on several ministry boards, is an avid hunter and fisherman and outdoorsman. But of all the things that could be said, Brother Harrison greatest quality is his burden for Revival. Any who hear him know that this is his heartbeat. You will be blessed by the ministry of this man and hopefully you will catch the fire in his heart that burns for God's power to fall once again.
